PCS LEGAL WINS ‘CONVEYANCING TEAM OF THE YEAR’ AT THE INAUGURAL CONVEYANCING AWARDS

PCS Legal is celebrating national recognition after winning “Conveyancing Team of the Year” at the inaugural The Conveyancing Awards 2026, while Director Miles Forsdike was also named Highly Commended in the prestigious “Conveyancer of the Year” category.

The awards, hosted by Globespan Media at The Londoner Hotel in London, brought together more than 300 professionals from across the property and conveyancing sector to recognise excellence, innovation and outstanding client service within the industry.

The judging panel praised PCS Legal for its operational performance, innovation and commitment to both clients and colleagues, commenting:

“PCS Legal is a firm that combines strong operational performance with a genuine commitment to client experience, innovation, and the development of future talent. They are delivering consistently high standards in a demanding economy.”

The recognition continues a landmark year for PCS Legal, which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary after first opening its doors in Basildon in 2006. Since then, the firm has grown into one of the region’s leading conveyancing specialists, with seven offices, more than 200 staff members, and thousands of transactions completed every year.

The judges also recognised the contribution of PCS Legal Director Miles Forsdike, who was highly commended in the “Conveyancer of the Year” category. Praising his leadership and contribution to the wider industry, the judges commented:

“Miles demonstrates the art of leading a high performing conveyancing team alongside supporting the wider industry and championing innovation. This balance is shown through his public speaking, in-house training academy, and hands-on approach to complex casework and supporting his clients.”

Commenting on the awards success, Stuart Forsdike, Founding Partner of PCS Legal, said:

“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition, particularly at the very first Conveyancing Awards. Winning Conveyancing Team of the Year is a fantastic achievement for our colleagues across the business, who work tirelessly every day to support our clients through one of the most important moments in their lives.”

“To also see Miles recognised by the judges is hugely deserved. His commitment to innovation, training and raising standards within conveyancing is something that has had a significant impact both within PCS Legal and across the wider industry.”

The Conveyancing Awards were compered by comedian and writer Lou Sanders and included entertainment from international DJ Tony Nicholls.

Globespan Media Director Daniel Hill said:

“Many congratulations to our winning individuals, teams and businesses, who have made history as the very first winners and set the standard for excellence.”

“The judging panel confirmed the categories were hotly contested, meaning only the most well-evidenced and compelling submissions took home a trophy. Our class of 2026 winners combine intelligent innovation, technical expertise, ambition and a commitment to enhancing the client experience. They truly are the benchmark for what outstanding conveyancing looks like.”

The awards recognised 21 businesses and individuals across 13 categories spanning the conveyancing profession, from high-performing teams and specialists to innovators and industry leaders.

The event also raised funds for The Mindstep Foundation, one of The Conveyancing Foundation’s grant recipients.

As PCS Legal continues its 20th anniversary year, the firm remains focused on investing in technology, supporting its colleagues, and delivering high-quality conveyancing services for home movers, first-time buyers and shared ownership purchasers across England and Wales.
